Delivery Authorisation is no longer needed
From November 11, 2011 the Delivery Authorization is not in use anymore.
The Delivery Authorisation was used in order to authorise Cryos International - Denmark ApS to deliver donor semen directly to the patient. The authorisation should be signed by a physicians or other persons authorised to perform insemination with donor semen.
It has come to our attention, that nothing in the Danish legislation and nothing in the EU-Tissue directive prevent a licensed centre (as Cryos) to deliver tissue and cells (including semen) directly to patients. As many patients, for instance in Italy, where treatment with donor semen is illegal, or other countries, where treament with anonymous or non-anonymous donor semen is illegal, or illegal for some groups of professionels, many patients are prevented access to professional helthcare, unless they search treatment abroad. We would like to help these patients by shipping directly to them as this will not be in conflict with the Danish legislation. However, as it may be in conflict with the legislation in the importing patient/client's country/jurisdiction, Cryos refrain from all responsibility in this connection.
Irrespectable of this, we always recommend that you are under the care of a physician or other health professionals - read more: click here
